Risk Program Stage 1, involves an off site risk assessment of
athletics and recreation programs and facilities. Stage 2 involves a
review of relevant documentation, as well as an on site visit
(typically 2 days) with one of the key final outcomes being the
development of prioritized Risk Management plans for the department.
Stage 3 consists of a follow up visit (1 day) where the progress of
these action plans is evaluated.
CURIE
covers the entire cost of stage one and up to 50% of the consultation
costs of stage two. All stage 3 consultation costs are also paid by CURIE.
The university is responsible for paying all travel expenses for
stages 2 & 3.
