CURIE provides numerous resources to inform members of the latest issues related to insurance and risk. Sign up for web-based training, download presentations and read articles of interest to keep you abreast of the industry. If you can’t find the information you are looking for try posting your question on our ListServ and learn what other Canadian Universities are doing.

Library

CURIE also has a Risk Management Resource Library, located in our office in Burlington, which is available for use by all subscribers by email, telephone, fax, or in person. The Library contains a wide variety of risk management and insurance related resources such as university risk management manuals, student risk management manuals, sample waiver forms, insurance policy wordings, videos, monographs, books, magazines, and trade-press publications. Our staff prides itself on prompt response to subscribers' information requests on a wide range of topics.

Subscribers are also welcome and encouraged to submit contributions to the Library for use by other subscribers for research and educational purposes. Examples of recent contributions are the University of Alberta Alcohol Policy and the University of Calgary Waiver Handbook.
